Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I hate to delight in the downfall of others but I don't know what took that nasty overpriced "COSÃ" restaurant so long to go out of business! But finally it did~ and something glorious came in its place. CHIPOTLE~ I was surprised they opened this location since it's so close to the other Rochester location and there are still Chipotle deprived places around that could use a nice convenient location *hint hint* waterford-clarkston-auburn hills PLEASE? I like the style of this one. The little stools by the windows are comfy and have a great view of Whole Foods (btw I when i was chowing down on my burrito bowl the other day I saw someone in Whole Foods being taken out on a stretcher. I thought people who shopped there were supposed to have no health problems- must have had a heart attack when they took a look at those exorbitant prices) But like many Chipotles I feel they put too many high bar stools and those are always last to be filled (unless it's all high schoolers there). Lunch time is swamped so it can be challenging finding a spot to sit- you may just have to share a space with a stranger- as I have done several times, but it's not so bad! What I really am here to review is the FOOD- Absolutely spot on every time! If you love a damn good tastey Chipotle, so far, this location has never been a miss.

Food here is fine. I you have kids, be advised that this particular location charges .50 more for anything besides chicken in the kids menu choices. No other location I've been to does this. Kind of annoying - but there's a zillion other locations to choose instead.

Wonderful to have one close to home. The pork suits me fine in tacos or burritos. Quesadilla for the muchacha and salad for mi espousa finish out well with their spectacular chips and guacamole. I am always pleased with this chain. Qdoba and others in the same vein just do not compare in my opinion.

Great place to go if you are on a time-crunch for lunch. The lines are long but they go so fast!

Been coming to this location for about 8 months now. I usually go later in the evening 6:30 or 7 so my experience is for that time of day. The food is nice and fresh and tastes great. Service is usually pretty good, the servers can get a little overly chatty amongst one another at times though. The burritos taste excellent but are very messy! Wish they had a better method of wrapping them. The tin foil is too small and doesn't cover well enough. I've had juices leak out the foil onto my clothes as I ate. Also I would like to see either the portion placed in the burrito lowered by just the tiniest amount of the Flour Wrap be a tiny bit larger. The current method isn't ideal at all as most of the time it's a struggle to close them and is a jumbled mess.

everything is always so fresh. I'm really lucky that the best chipotle I've ever been to is the closest one to my house. I'm here almost 3 times a week. squad

Having been here 10 times now (and more times to come... it's too close, easy, fast, and convenient coming from OU not to), and I've discovered a few things. Firs and second, the rice is pretty consistently undercooked. 8/10 times it's been a little chewy. Also, the chips tend to be too heavily salted... would it be too much to ask to have salted and non-salted bags? Just separate them. Third, some meats are never quite cooked right, by that I mostly mean the chicken and steak. I normally go for the carnitas and/or barbacoa in a burrito because they're consistent. The steak varies in doneness too much for my liking, and too many pieces seem to have cartilage. For the chicken, the last time I had it it was basically burnt and super dry. And finally, the workers are super inconsistent. One will give you a double portion of meat at no cost, and another will give you a normal portion of meat when you ask for double. Probably partly my fault for not asking for more food to warrant the $2ish charge for extra meat, but I don't want to sound like an ass. So it's a fine place to get something to eat quickly, and I'll continue going, but a little more effort would be appreciated.

Not the best Chipotle location, and not the worst. Their portions will vary, at times they are large; other times they are small. On more than one occassion, I've faxed in my order for pick up, as well as order online/use the Chipotle app (for pick up) and they did not receive my order. Once time I faxed my order including my phone number, got to the store, and they advised me my order wasn't complete, but they weren't allowed to call. Previously I had an issue with one of my orders mid-meal, I brought it to the attention of the manager on duty who gave me a whole new meal, comped me a free meal for next time, and gave me three coupons for free chips & guacamole. It was a good gesture to make up for my experience.

This Chipotle location is not as good as the other location in Rochester Hills. Firstly, my veggie burrito bowl consisted of way over-cooked "fajita veggies" that almost only consisted of onion. The guac was mostly brown. There was some clear piece of plastic I found that I had taken a bite of. The employees aren't very friendly and, for some reason, they only hire one particular type of race and gender at this location working at the bar. The location is convenient, but if you live in the city, just go to the one on Rochester Road. Way better service and quality there.

Always fast service. The crew here is amazing. Even when the line is out the door it never feels like a wait. Still think quac is Lil over priced but I still buy it.

Like preciously stated, not the greatest location and not the worst. Portion sizes are really inconsistent. I get double chicken because I break up my burrito bowl into two meals. When I order double chicken I expect it to be two servings not barely one serving. Today, as well as a few other times, I have ordered double chicken and even reminded them of this after I saw a measly serving and was told "this is double chicken" with a big old scowl. Ok then! I'll probably still continue coming here but would like to see some smiling faces willing to accommodate customers requests along with consistency.

I'm more of a Qdoba fan. However, I got a naked chicken burrito. It was okay, but not my taste. I was also turned off by the loud-speaking employee yelling at each person if they wanted salsa or not.

Always very busy, but the employees here don't mess around and get the line moving as fast as they can. Great food and a very well run restaurant.

Wonderful experience. After a long day, I told the guy at the counter I was too hungry to decide what I wanted to order. He asked how hungry I was on a scale of 1-5. When I said 5, he offered to make me something I was "sure to love." I decided to go for it because he sounded confident and I was curious (besides there's nothing I don't like at Chipotle). He started making a burrito bowl, putting whatever he thought I wanted on it, and absolutely nailed it. He also added chips, a cup, and put extra stuff in the bowl (2 meats, guac, and salad dressing) at no extra charge. I couldn't believe the generosity. When I finished and went back to tell him how awesome it was, he was gone, which is why I felt so compelled to type up a review. Chipotle lover for life.

I really like this chipotle. It's really close to campus and they are always really fast and friendly. Try to give yourself some extra time between 11 and 1ish. I usually get the chicken burrito and it is soo good :)

The chicken burrito bowl was just ok. I've been to other chipotle locations in Cali that were amazing/the bomb but I guess this was just an edible food item. The guacamole was brownish green today not the normal vibrant green I'm accustomed to at chipotle. The server told me it was because the "put in the fridge" because they made it this morning. I ordered it without knowing better and yup it was made with old avocados. Will probably not return to this location.

Like many Chipotle locations, this one has the contemporary/modern/grungy look. However, operations are not the same as others. Husband and I have been coming here for several months now, and though this location is convenient for us (considering we do a lot of our grocery shopping at the Whole Foods and Trader Joe's nearby), we don't always like coming here. Why is that? Well, for one, craftsmanship in wrapping the burrito isn't always consistent. In fact, on our most recent visit, the guy who was supposed to be wrapping my burrito was too busy socializing with his buddies that happened to be ahead of me. That resulted in my flour tortilla getting cold and dry and cracking at the seams due to the delay. Why bother getting a burrito if the tortilla is going to fall apart and cause all the fillings to fall out? As a result, I had to tell him to either re-wrap or get another tortilla to wrap outside of the existing one. That is probably the biggest issue with this location. There is always someone who is more on top of things, and another one that is a bit less diligent about their burrito making. The freshness in the food is great, and the facility is largely kept clean, but with the influx of large families that come here on a weekend afternoon, it can sometimes get trashed pretty quickly. I think the best time to come is slightly after lunch or dinner rush, where the line isn't too long. That way, the amount of wait in between each patron won't be too long, and no cracked burrito tortillas! Win win! :)

I come here often and love the food, but today was a different story. As my food was being prepared, a young kid blew his nose, and immediately put on gloves to serve people. He grabbed the gloves!!! I was so distracted by what he was doing, I could barely pay for my food. I finally told the cashier to get him out of the line at which point he responded, "Oh, I'll wash them now". I probably won't go back for a while....at least not until that kid goes back to school.

Great lunch here! You can choose from Burrito's, Taco's and Bowls. The food was yummy hot and fresh and the service was good. I'll be back!!!

ALWAYS perfect. At this point, it's pretty much an ongoing relationship. We spend most busy 1/2 hour breaks between school and work in hot sauce & rice bliss. I recommend the salad bowl with black beans, guac, hot salsa & white rice. The service is always quick here, chips are always fresh & the manager dark haired guy is great w. his customers always very accommodating. Musics good too. Seriously considering moving in.

This is a standard Chipotle. Employees always seem less-than-enthusiastic, but the food is quite tasty. It's consistent with other Chipotle locations, as it should be.

This location is always super busy so I try to be understanding, however every staff member I encountered (with the exception of one young man) was rude. Love the food; could do without the attitude problems.
